Since 2009, EU Pallet has been at the forefront of sustainable logistics solutions, transforming the European pallet industry through innovation, quality, and environmental responsibility. What started as a small family business in Hamburg has grown into one of Europe's most trusted pallet partners.
From a Single Warehouse to European Leader
EU Pallet was born from a simple observation: millions of perfectly usable pallets were being discarded every year across Europe, while businesses struggled to source quality pallets at reasonable prices. Our founder, Thomas Richter, saw an opportunity to bridge this gap while making a positive environmental impact.
Starting with a 500m² warehouse in Hamburg's industrial district and a team of just five people, we began collecting, sorting, and redistributing used pallets. Our commitment to quality quickly earned us a reputation among local businesses, and demand grew faster than we could have imagined.
Today, EU Pallet operates from 12 strategic locations across Europe, employing over 180 dedicated professionals who share our passion for sustainability and service excellence. We've processed more than 25 million pallets since our founding, preventing countless tonnes of wood from ending up in landfills.
